Sony World Photography Awards

Il Sony World Photography Awards, che si terrà nel prestigioso Palais des Festivals di Cannes dal 21 al 25 aprile 2008, vuole rendere omaggio ai fotografi di tutto il mondo nelle varie categorie. Dal paesaggio alla musica, dal reportage alla moda, il Sony World Photography Awards è una vetrina delle migliori immagini scattate da fotografi famosi o ancora da scoprire. Sostenuto da centinaia fotografi di fama internazionale, critici, galleristi, direttori, promotori o esperti del settore, il SWPA è una novità nel suo genere e una piattaforma internazionale senza precedenti nel mondo della fotografia, finora sottovalutato. Il SWPA vuole scoprire le immagini del futuro rendendo contestualmente omaggio alla visione del passato.
